Why do we study a dead language anyway???

We used to say, "Latin is a language,
As dead as dead can be.
It killed the ancient Romans,
And now it's killing me."
But, then, we didn't start Latin until the 9th grade!
I took it, so I wanted my children to take it. Stefan did say that it helps him with vocabulary, especially on the SATS. Never too early!
hey, kyle owned me in a latin lesson the other night...leading me once again to the realization that i think kyle actually knows more than me sometimes. don't tell him i said so.
