Today was the annual mushroom festival.
Our church always hold our services outside at the park during this festival and it's one of my favorite services of the year. There are so many people and I like to look around and imagine what it must have been like when Jesus talked to the thousands or when Moses preached to the people in the dessert. As I look around and see moms feeding babies, and older siblings chasing toddlers I imagine the scene would have been similar as parents tried to shh their kids and all the people were gathered together to praise God. It was an awesome service.
